KJV: Lord, thou hast been favourable unto thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.

Geneva: To him that excelleth. A Psalme committed to the sonnes of Korah. Lorde, thou hast bene fauourable vnto thy land: thou hast brought againe the captiuitie of Iaakob.

KJV: Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.

Geneva: Thou hast forgiuen the iniquitie of thy people, and couered all their sinnes. Selah.

KJV: Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger.

Geneva: Thou hast withdrawen all thine anger, and hast turned backe fro the fiercenes of thy wrath.

KJV: Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine anger toward us to cease.

Geneva: Turne vs, O God of our saluation, and release thine anger toward vs.

KJV: Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?

Geneva: Wilt thou be angry with vs for euer? and wilt thou prolong thy wrath from one generation to another?

KJV: Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?

Geneva: Wilt thou not turne againe & quicken vs, that thy people may reioyce in thee?

KJV: Shew us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation.

Geneva: Shew vs thy mercie, O Lord, and graunt vs thy saluation.

KJV: I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.

Geneva: I will hearken what the Lord God will say: for he will speake peace vnto his people, and to his Saintes, that they turne not againe to follie.

KJV: Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.

Geneva: Surely his saluation is neere to them that feare him, that glory may dwell in our land.

KJV: Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

Geneva: Mercie and trueth shall meete: righteousnes and peace shall kisse one another.

KJV: Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.

Geneva: Trueth shall bud out of the earth, and righteousnes shall looke downe from heauen.

KJV: Yea, the LORD shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.

Geneva: Yea, the Lord shall giue good things, and our land shall giue her increase.

KJV: Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.

Geneva: Righteousnesse shall go before him, and shall set her steps in the way.
