KJV: Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that dwellest between the cherubims, shine forth.

Geneva: To him that excelleth on Shoshannim Eduth. A Psalme committed to Asaph. Heare, O thou Shepheard of Israel, thou that leadest Ioseph like sheepe: shewe thy brightnes, thou that sittest betweene the Cherubims.

KJV: Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh stir up thy strength, and come and save us.

Geneva: Before Ephraim and Beniamin and Manasseh stirre vp thy strength, and come to helpe vs.

KJV: Turn us again, O God, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.

Geneva: Turne vs againe, O God, and cause thy face to shine that we may be saued.

KJV: O LORD God of hosts, how long wilt thou be angry against the prayer of thy people?

Geneva: O Lord God of hostes, how long wilt thou be angrie against the prayer of thy people?

KJV: Thou feedest them with the bread of tears; and givest them tears to drink in great measure.

Geneva: Thou hast fedde them with the bread of teares, and giuen them teares to drinke with great measure.

KJV: Thou makest us a strife unto our neighbours: and our enemies laugh among themselves.

Geneva: Thou hast made vs a strife vnto our neighbours, and our enemies laugh at vs among themselues.

KJV: Turn us again, O God of hosts, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.

Geneva: Turne vs againe, O God of hostes: cause thy face to shine, and we shalbe saued.

KJV: Thou hast brought a vine out of Egypt: thou hast cast out the heathen, and planted it.

KJV: Thou preparedst room before it, and didst cause it to take deep root, and it filled the land.

Geneva: Thou madest roume for it, and didest cause it to take roote, and it filled the land.

KJV: The hills were covered with the shadow of it, and the boughs thereof were like the goodly cedars.

KJV: She sent out her boughs unto the sea, and her branches unto the river.

Geneva: Shee stretched out her branches vnto the Sea, and her boughes vnto the Riuer.

KJV: Why hast thou then broken down her hedges, so that all they which pass by the way do pluck her?

Geneva: Why hast thou then broken downe her hedges, so that all they, which passe by the way, haue plucked her?

KJV: The boar out of the wood doth waste it, and the wild beast of the field doth devour it.

Geneva: The wilde bore out of the wood hath destroyed it, and the wilde beastes of the fielde haue eaten it vp.

KJV: Return, we beseech thee, O God of hosts: look down from heaven, and behold, and visit this vine;

Geneva: Returne we beseech thee, O God of hostes: looke downe from heauen and beholde and visite this vine,

KJV: And the vineyard which thy right hand hath planted, and the branch that thou madest strong for thyself.

Geneva: And the vineyard, that thy right hand hath planted, and the young vine, which thou madest strong for thy selfe.

KJV: It is burned with fire, it is cut down: they perish at the rebuke of thy countenance.

Geneva: It is burnt with fire and cut downe: and they perish at the rebuke of thy countenance.

KJV: Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, upon the son of man whom thou madest strong for thyself.

Geneva: Let thine hande be vpon the man of thy right hande, and vpon the sonne of man, whome thou madest strong for thine owne selfe.

KJV: So will not we go back from thee: quicken us, and we will call upon thy name.

Geneva: So will not we goe backe from thee: reuiue thou vs, and we shall call vpon thy Name.

KJV: Turn us again, O LORD God of hosts, cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.

Geneva: Turne vs againe, O Lorde God of hostes: cause thy face to shine and we shalbe saued.
