KJV: O LORD, rebuke me not in thy wrath: neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.
Geneva: A Psalme of Dauid for remembrance. O Lorde, rebuke mee not in thine anger, neither chastise me in thy wrath.

KJV: For thine arrows stick fast in me, and thy hand presseth me sore.
Geneva: For thine arrowes haue light vpon me, and thine hand lyeth vpon me.

KJV: There is no soundness in my flesh because of thine anger; neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin.
Geneva: There is nothing sound in my flesh, because of thine anger: neither is there rest in my bones because of my sinne.

KJV: For mine iniquities are gone over mine head: as an heavy burden they are too heavy for me.
Geneva: For mine iniquities are gone ouer mine head, and as a weightie burden they are too heauie for me.

KJV: My wounds stink and are corrupt because of my foolishness.
Geneva: My woundes are putrified, and corrupt because of my foolishnes.

KJV: I am troubled; I am bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long.
Geneva: I am bowed, and crooked very sore: I goe mourning all the day.

KJV: For my loins are filled with a loathsome disease: and there is no soundness in my flesh.
Geneva: For my reines are full of burning, and there is nothing sound in my flesh.

KJV: I am feeble and sore broken: I have roared by reason of the disquietness of my heart.
Geneva: I am weakened and sore broken: I roare for the very griefe of mine heart.

KJV: Lord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is not hid from thee.
Geneva: Lorde, I powre my whole desire before thee, and my sighing is not hid from thee.

KJV: My heart panteth, my strength faileth me: as for the light of mine eyes, it also is gone from me.
Geneva: Mine heart panteth: my strength faileth me, and the light of mine eyes, euen they are not mine owne.

KJV: My lovers and my friends stand aloof from my sore; and my kinsmen stand afar off.
Geneva: My louers and my friends stand aside from my plague, and my kinsmen stand a farre off.

KJV: They also that seek after my life lay snares for me: and they that seek my hurt speak mischievous things, and imagine deceits all the day long.
Geneva: They also, that seeke after my life, laye snares, and they that go about to do me euil, talke wicked things and imagine deceite continually.

KJV: But I, as a deaf man, heard not; and I was as a dumb man that openeth not his mouth.
Geneva: But I as a deafe man heard not, and am as a dumme man, which openeth not his mouth.

KJV: Thus I was as a man that heareth not, and in whose mouth are no reproofs.
Geneva: Thus am I as a man, that heareth not, and in whose mouth are no reproofes.

KJV: For in thee, O LORD, do I hope: thou wilt hear, O Lord my God.
Geneva: For on thee, O Lord, do I waite: thou wilt heare me, my Lord, my God.

KJV: For I said, Hear me, lest otherwise they should rejoice over me: when my foot slippeth, they magnify themselves against me.
Geneva: For I said, Heare me, least they reioyce ouer me: for when my foote slippeth, they extol themselues against me.

KJV: For I am ready to halt, and my sorrow is continually before me.
Geneva: Surely I am ready to halte, and my sorow is euer before me.

KJV: For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.
Geneva: When I declare my paine, and am sory for my sinne,

KJV: But mine enemies are lively, and they are strong: and they that hate me wrongfully are multiplied.
Geneva: Then mine enemies are aliue & are mightie, and they that hate me wrongfully are many.

KJV: They also that render evil for good are mine adversaries; because I follow the thing that good is.
Geneva: They also, that rewarde euill for good, are mine aduersaries, because I followe goodnesse.

KJV: Forsake me not, O LORD: O my God, be not far from me.
Geneva: Forsake me not, O Lord: be not thou farre from me, my God.

KJV: Make haste to help me, O Lord my salvation.
Geneva: Haste thee to helpe mee, O my Lorde, my saluation.
