KJV: Sing aloud unto God our strength: make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob.

Geneva: To him that excelleth vpon Gittith. A Psalme committed to Asaph. Sing ioyfully vnto God our strength: sing loude vnto the God of Iaakob.

KJV: Take a psalm, and bring hither the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery.

Geneva: Take the song and bring forth the timbrel, the pleasant harpe with the viole.

KJV: Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.

Geneva: Blowe the trumpet in the newe moone, euen in the time appointed, at our feast day.

KJV: For this was a statute for Israel, and a law of the God of Jacob.

Geneva: For this is a statute for Israel, and a Law of the God of Iaakob.

KJV: This he ordained in Joseph for a testimony, when he went out through the land of Egypt: where I heard a language that I understood not.

Geneva: Hee set this in Ioseph for a testimonie, when hee came out of the land of Egypt, where I heard a language, that I vnderstoode not.

KJV: I removed his shoulder from the burden: his hands were delivered from the pots.

Geneva: I haue withdrawen his shoulder from the burden, and his handes haue left the pots.

KJV: Thou calledst in trouble, and I delivered thee; I answered thee in the secret place of thunder: I proved thee at the waters of Meribah. Selah.

Geneva: Thou calledst in affliction and I deliuered thee, and answered thee in the secret of the thunder: I prooued thee at the waters of Meribah. Selah.

KJV: Hear, O my people, and I will testify unto thee: O Israel, if thou wilt hearken unto me;

Geneva: Heare, O my people, and I wil protest vnto thee: O Israel, if thou wilt hearken vnto me,

KJV: There shall no strange god be in thee; neither shalt thou worship any strange god.

Geneva: Let there bee no strange god in thee, neither worship thou any strange god.

KJV: I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.

Geneva: For I am the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide and I will fill it.

KJV: But my people would not hearken to my voice; and Israel would none of me.

Geneva: But my people would not heare my voyce, and Israel would none of me.

KJV: So I gave them up unto their own hearts’ lust: and they walked in their own counsels.

Geneva: So I gaue them vp vnto the hardnes of their heart, & they haue walked in their owne cousels.

KJV: Oh that my people had hearkened unto me, and Israel had walked in my ways!

Geneva: Oh that my people had hearkened vnto me, and Israel had walked in my wayes.

KJV: I should soon have subdued their enemies, and turned my hand against their adversaries.

Geneva: I would soone haue humbled their enemies, and turned mine hand against their aduersaries.

KJV: The haters of the LORD should have submitted themselves unto him: but their time should have endured for ever.

Geneva: The haters of the Lorde should haue bene subiect vnto him, and their time should haue endured for euer.

KJV: He should have fed them also with the finest of the wheat: and with honey out of the rock should I have satisfied thee.

Geneva: And God would haue fedde them with the fatte of wheat, and with honie out of the rocke would I haue sufficed thee.
