KJV: Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands:

Geneva: To him that excelleth. A song or Psalme. Reioyce in God, all ye inhabitants of the earth.

KJV: Sing forth the honour of his name: make his praise glorious.

Geneva: Sing forth the glory of his name: make his praise glorious.

KJV: Say unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.

Geneva: Say vnto God, Howe terrible art thou in thy workes! through the greatnesse of thy power shall thine enemies be in subiection vnto thee.

KJV: All the earth shall worship thee, and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing to thy name. Selah.

Geneva: All the worlde shall worship thee, and sing vnto thee, euen sing of thy Name. Selah.

KJV: Come and see the works of God: he is terrible in his doing toward the children of men.

Geneva: Come and beholde the workes of God: he is terrible in his doing towarde the sonnes of men.

KJV: He turned the sea into dry land: they went through the flood on foot: there did we rejoice in him.

Geneva: He hath turned the Sea into drie land: they passe through the riuer on foote: there did we reioyce in him.

KJV: He ruleth by his power for ever; his eyes behold the nations: let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah.

Geneva: He ruleth the worlde with his power: his eyes beholde the nations: the rebellious shall not exalt them selues. Selah.

KJV: O bless our God, ye people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard:

Geneva: Prayse our God, ye people, and make the voyce of his prayse to be heard.

KJV: Which holdeth our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be moved.

Geneva: Which holdeth our soules in life, and suffereth not our feete to slippe.

KJV: For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.

Geneva: For thou, O God, hast proued vs, thou hast tryed vs as siluer is tryed.

KJV: Thou broughtest us into the net; thou laidst affliction upon our loins.

Geneva: Thou hast brought vs into the snare, and layed a strait chaine vpon our loynes.

KJV: Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.

Geneva: Thou hast caused men to ryde ouer our heads: we went into fire and into water, but thou broughtest vs out into a welthie place.

KJV: I will go into thy house with burnt offerings: I will pay thee my vows,

Geneva: I will go into thine House with burnt offrings, and will pay thee my vowes,

KJV: Which my lips have uttered, and my mouth hath spoken, when I was in trouble.

Geneva: Which my lippes haue promised, and my mouth hath spoken in mine affliction.

KJV: I will offer unto thee burnt sacrifices of fatlings, with the incense of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. Selah.

Geneva: I will offer vnto thee the burnt offerings of fat rammes with incense: I will prepare bullocks and goates. Selah.

KJV: Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul.

Geneva: Come and hearken, all ye that feare God, and I will tell you what he hath done to my soule.

KJV: I cried unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue.

Geneva: I called vnto him with my mouth, and he was exalted with my tongue.

KJV: If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:

Geneva: If I regard wickednesse in mine heart, the Lord will not heare me.

KJV: But verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer.

Geneva: But God hath heard me, & considered the voyce of my prayer.

KJV: Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me.

Geneva: Praysed be God, which hath not put backe my prayer, nor his mercie from me.
