KJV: Lord, I cry unto thee: make haste unto me; give ear unto my voice, when I cry unto thee.

Geneva: A Psalme of Dauid. O Lord, I call vpon thee: haste thee vnto me: heare my voyce, when I cry vnto thee.

KJV: Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.

Geneva: Let my prayer be directed in thy sight as incense, and the lifting vp of mine hands as an euening sacrifice.

KJV: Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.

Geneva: Set a watch, O Lorde, before my mouth, and keepe the doore of my lips.

KJV: Incline not my heart to any evil thing, to practise wicked works with men that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties.

Geneva: Incline not mine heart to euill, that I should commit wicked workes with men that worke iniquitie: and let me not eate of their delicates.

KJV: Let the righteous smite me; it shall be a kindness: and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also shall be in their calamities.

Geneva: Let the righteous smite me: for that is a benefite: and let him reprooue me, and it shalbe a precious oyle, that shall not breake mine head: for within a while I shall euen pray in their miseries.

KJV: When their judges are overthrown in stony places, they shall hear my words; for they are sweet.

Geneva: When their iudges shall be cast downe in stonie places, they shal heare my wordes, for they are sweete.

KJV: Our bones are scattered at the grave’s mouth, as when one cutteth and cleaveth wood upon the earth.

Geneva: Our bones lye scattered at the graues mouth, as he that heweth wood or diggeth in the earth.

KJV: But mine eyes are unto thee, O GOD the Lord: in thee is my trust; leave not my soul destitute.

Geneva: But mine eyes looke vnto thee, O Lord God: in thee is my trust: leaue not my soule destitute.

KJV: Keep me from the snares which they have laid for me, and the gins of the workers of iniquity.

Geneva: Keepe me from the snare, which they haue layde for me, and from the grennes of the workers of iniquitie.

KJV: Let the wicked fall into their own nets, whilst that I withal escape.

Geneva: Let the wicked fall into his nettes together, whiles I escape.
