O LORD, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.
Geneva:
To him that excelleth on Neginoth vpon the eight tune. A Psalme of Dauid. O lord, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chastise me in thy wrath.

Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed.
Geneva:
Haue mercie vpon me, O Lorde, for I am weake: O Lord heale me, for my bones are vexed.

KJV:
My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O LORD, how long?
Geneva:
My soule is also sore troubled: but Lorde how long wilt thou delay?

KJV:
Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies’ sake.
Geneva:
Returne, O Lord: deliuer my soule: saue me for thy mercies sake.

For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?
Geneva:
For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the graue who shall prayse thee?

I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.
Geneva:
I fainted in my mourning: I cause my bed euery night to swimme, and water my couch with my teares.

Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all mine enemies.
Geneva:
Mine eye is dimmed for despight, and sunke in because of all mine enemies.

KJV:
Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the LORD hath heard the voice of my weeping.
Geneva:
Away from mee all ye workers of iniquitie: for the Lorde hath heard the voyce of my weeping.

KJV:
The LORD hath heard my supplication; the LORD will receive my prayer.
Geneva:
The Lord hath heard my petition: the Lord will receiue my prayer.

KJV:
Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return and be ashamed suddenly.
Geneva:
All mine enemies shall be confounded and sore vexed: they shall be turned backe, and put to shame suddenly.
