KJV: Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king’s son.

Geneva: A Psalme of Salomon. Giue thy iudgements to the King, O God, and thy righteousnesse to the Kings sonne.

KJV: He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment.

Geneva: Then shal he iudge thy people in righteousnesse, and thy poore with equitie.

KJV: The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness.

Geneva: The mountaines & the hilles shall bring peace to the people by iustice.

KJV: He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.

Geneva: He shall iudge the poore of the people: he shall saue the children of the needie, and shal subdue the oppressor.

KJV: They shall fear thee as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations.

Geneva: They shall feare thee as long as the sunne and moone endureth, fro generatio to generation.

KJV: He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth.

Geneva: He shall come downe like the rayne vpon the mowen grasse, and as the showres that water the earth.

KJV: In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth.

Geneva: In his dayes shall the righteous florish, and abundance of peace shalbe so long as the moone endureth.

KJV: He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.

Geneva: His dominion shall be also from sea to sea, and from the Riuer vnto the endes of the land.

KJV: They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust.

Geneva: They that dwell in ye wildernes, shall kneele before him, and his enemies shall licke the dust.

KJV: The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.

Geneva: The Kings of Tarshish & of the yles shall bring presents: the Kings of Sheba and Seba shall bring giftes.

KJV: Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him.

Geneva: Yea, all Kings shal worship him: all nations shall serue him.

KJV: For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper.

Geneva: For he shall deliuer the poore when he cryeth: the needie also, and him that hath no helper.

KJV: He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy.

Geneva: He shalbe mercifull to the poore and needie, and shall preserue the soules of the poore.

KJV: He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight.

Geneva: He shall redeeme their soules from deceite and violence, and deare shall their blood be in his sight.

KJV: And he shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba: prayer also shall be made for him continually; and daily shall he be praised.

Geneva: Yea, he shall liue, and vnto him shall they giue of the golde of Sheba: they shall also pray for him continually, and dayly blesse him.

KJV: There shall be an handful of corn in the earth upon the top of the mountains; the fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: and they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.

Geneva: An handfull of corne shall be sowen in the earth, euen in the toppe of the mountaines, and the fruite thereof shall shake like the trees of Lebanon: and the children shall florish out of the citie like the grasse of the earth.

KJV: His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed.

Geneva: His name shall be for euer: his name shall indure as long as the sunne: all nations shall blesse him, and be blessed in him.

KJV: Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things.

Geneva: Blessed be the Lorde God, euen the God of Israel, which onely doeth wonderous things.

KJV: And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.

Geneva: And blessed be his glorious Name for euer: and let all the earth be filled with his glorie. So be it, euen so be it.

KJV: The prayers of David the son of Jesse are ended.

Geneva: Here end the prayers of Dauid, the sonne of Ishai.
