KJV: Hear my prayer, O LORD, give ear to my supplications: in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness.

Geneva: A Psalme of Dauid. Heare my prayer, O Lorde, and hearken vnto my supplication: answere me in thy trueth and in thy righteousnes.

KJV: And enter not into judgment with thy servant: for in thy sight shall no man living be justified.

Geneva: (And enter not into iudgement with thy seruant: for in thy sight shall none that liueth, be iustified)

KJV: For the enemy hath persecuted my soul; he hath smitten my life down to the ground; he hath made me to dwell in darkness, as those that have been long dead.

Geneva: For the enemie hath persecuted my soule: he hath smitten my life downe to the earth: he hath layde me in the darkenes, as they that haue bene dead long agoe:

KJV: Therefore is my spirit overwhelmed within me; my heart within me is desolate.

Geneva: And my spirit was in perplexitie in me, and mine heart within me was amased.

KJV: I remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy works; I muse on the work of thy hands.

Geneva: Yet doe I remember the time past: I meditate in all thy workes, yea, I doe meditate in the workes of thine hands.

KJV: I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah.

Geneva: I stretch forth mine hands vnto thee: my soule desireth after thee, as the thirstie land. Selah.

KJV: Hear me speedily, O LORD: my spirit faileth: hide not thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit.

Geneva: Heare me speedily, O Lorde, for my spirit fayleth: hide not thy face from me, els I shall be like vnto them that go downe into the pit.

KJV: Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.

Geneva: Let me heare thy louing kindenes in the morning, for in thee is my trust: shewe mee the way, that I should walke in, for I lift vp my soule vnto thee.

KJV: Deliver me, O LORD, from mine enemies: I flee unto thee to hide me.

Geneva: Deliuer me, O Lorde, from mine enemies: for I hid me with thee.

KJV: Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

Geneva: Teach me to doe thy will, for thou art my God: let thy good Spirit leade me vnto the land of righteousnes.

KJV: Quicken me, O LORD, for thy name’s sake: for thy righteousness’ sake bring my soul out of trouble.

Geneva: Quicken me, O Lord, for thy Names sake, and for thy righteousnesse bring my soule out of trouble.

KJV: And of thy mercy cut off mine enemies, and destroy all them that afflict my soul: for I am thy servant.

Geneva: And for thy mercy slay mine enemies, and destroy all them that oppresse my soule: for I am thy seruant.
