People were made to be like angels, meant to stay pure and righteous, so that death, which destroys everything, wouldn't affect them. But because of their knowledge, they are dying, and because of this power, I am being consumed.

"And when they saw it they feared and trembled at its presence, and desired to return to their folds."
They were afraid and shook with fear when they saw it, and wanted to go back to their pens.
