He wanted them to see the power of His actions and praise the great things He has done with His own hands. He wanted them to bless Him forever.

When the secrets of the righteous are revealed and the sinners are judged, the godless will be removed from the presence of the righteous and chosen ones.
"For I saw all the angels of punishment abiding (there) and preparing all the instruments of Satan."
