KJV: I cried unto God with my voice, even unto God with my voice; and he gave ear unto me.

Geneva: For the excellent musitian Ieduthun. A Psalme committed to Asaph. My voyce came to God, when I cryed: my voyce came to God, and he heard me.

KJV: In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord: my sore ran in the night, and ceased not: my soul refused to be comforted.

Geneva: In the day of my trouble I sought ye Lord: my sore ranne and ceased not in the night: my soule refused comfort.

KJV: I remembered God, and was troubled: I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed. Selah.

Geneva: I did thinke vpon God, & was troubled: I praied, and my spirit was full of anguish. Selah.

KJV: Thou holdest mine eyes waking: I am so troubled that I cannot speak.

Geneva: Thou keepest mine eyes waking: I was astonied and could not speake.

KJV: I have considered the days of old, the years of ancient times.

Geneva: Then I considered the daies of olde, and the yeeres of ancient time.

KJV: I call to remembrance my song in the night: I commune with mine own heart: and my spirit made diligent search.

Geneva: I called to remembrance my song in the night: I communed with mine owne heart, and my spirit searched diligently.

KJV: Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more?

Geneva: Will the Lorde absent him selfe for euer? and will he shewe no more fauour?

KJV: Is his mercy clean gone for ever? doth his promise fail for evermore?

Geneva: Is his mercie cleane gone for euer? doeth his promes faile for euermore?

KJV: Hath God forgotten to be gracious? hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah.

Geneva: Hath God forgotten to be mercifull? hath he shut vp his teder mercies in displeasure? Selah.

KJV: And I said, This is my infirmity: but I will remember the years of the right hand of the most High.

Geneva: And I sayde, This is my death: yet I remembred the yeeres of the right hand of the most High.

KJV: I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember thy wonders of old.

Geneva: I remembred the workes of the Lorde: certainely I remembred thy wonders of olde.

KJV: I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings.

Geneva: I did also meditate all thy woorkes, and did deuise of thine actes, saying,

KJV: Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God?

Geneva: Thy way, O God, is in the Sanctuarie: who is so great a God as our God!

KJV: Thou art the God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy strength among the people.

Geneva: Thou art ye God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy power among the people.

KJV: Thou hast with thine arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.

Geneva: Thou hast redeemed thy people with thine arme, euen the sonnes of Iaakob & Ioseph. Selah.

KJV: The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they were afraid: the depths also were troubled.

Geneva: The waters sawe thee, O God: the waters sawe thee, and were afraide: yea, the depths trembled.

KJV: The clouds poured out water: the skies sent out a sound: thine arrows also went abroad.

Geneva: The cloudes powred out water: the heauens gaue a sounde: yea, thine arrowes went abroade.

KJV: The voice of thy thunder was in the heaven: the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook.

Geneva: The voyce of thy thunder was rounde about: the lightnings lightened the worlde: the earth trembled and shooke.

KJV: Thy way is in the sea, and thy path in the great waters, and thy footsteps are not known.

Geneva: Thy way is in the Sea, and thy paths in the great waters, & thy footesteps are not knowen.

KJV: Thou leddest thy people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.

Geneva: Thou diddest leade thy people like sheepe by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
