KJV: I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.

Geneva: I loue the Lorde, because he hath heard my voyce and my prayers.

KJV: Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.

Geneva: For he hath inclined his eare vnto me, whe I did call vpon him in my dayes.

KJV: The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.

Geneva: When the snares of death copassed me, and the griefes of the graue caught me: when I founde trouble and sorowe.

KJV: Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.

Geneva: Then I called vpon the Name of the Lord, saying, I beseech thee, O Lord, deliuer my soule.

KJV: Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.

Geneva: The Lorde is mercifull and righteous, and our God is full of compassion.

KJV: The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.

Geneva: The Lorde preserueth the simple: I was in miserie and he saued me.

KJV: Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.

Geneva: Returne vnto thy rest, O my soule: for the Lord hath bene beneficiall vnto thee,

KJV: For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.

Geneva: Because thou hast deliuered my soule from death, mine eyes from teares, and my feete from falling.

KJV: I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.

Geneva: I shall walke before the Lord in the lande of the liuing.

KJV: I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:

Geneva: I beleeued, therefore did I speake: for I was sore troubled.

KJV: I said in my haste, All men are liars.

Geneva: I said in my feare, All men are lyers.

KJV: What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?

Geneva: What shall I render vnto the Lord for all his benefites toward me?

KJV: I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.

Geneva: I will take the cup of saluation, and call vpon the Name of the Lord.

KJV: I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.

Geneva: I will pay my vowes vnto the Lorde, euen nowe in the presence of all his people.

KJV: Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.

Geneva: Precious in the sight of the Lorde is the death of his Saintes.

KJV: O LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.

Geneva: Beholde, Lord: for I am thy seruant, I am thy seruant, and the sonne of thine handmaide: thou hast broken my bondes.

KJV: I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.

Geneva: I will offer to thee a sacrifice of prayse, and will call vpon the Name of the Lord.

KJV: I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people,

Geneva: I will pay my vowes vnto the Lorde, euen nowe in the presence of all his people,

KJV: In the courts of the LORD’s house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.

Geneva: In the courtes of ye Lords house, euen in the middes of thee, O Ierusalem. Praise ye the Lord.
