1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: praise him in the heights.

*Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord in heaven: praise Him high up.

2 Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.

*Praise him; all his angels should praise him too. Everyone in his army should also praise him.

3 Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.

*Praise Him, sun and moon. Praise Him, all you shining stars.

4 Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.

*Praise Him, skies above and waters up in the sky.

5 Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created.

*Praise the LORD's name! He ordered it, and it came to be.

6 He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass.

*He has also established them forever; he has made an unchangeable decision.

7 Praise the LORD from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps:

*Praise God from the ground, you dragon creatures, and all deep sea creatures:

8 Fire, and hail; snow, and vapours; stormy wind fulfilling his word:

*Fire, hail, snow, and mist; strong winds completing what he said.

9 Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars:

*Mountains, all hills, fruitful trees, and every cedar tree.

10 Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl:

*Animals and all livestock; crawling creatures, and birds that fly.

11 Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth:

*All kings, people, princes, and judges on Earth:

12 Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children:

*Both young people and girls, old people and kids:

13 Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.

*Praise the LORD's name, as it's truly great. His glory goes beyond Earth and sky.

14 He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the LORD.

*He raises up the strength of his people, honoring all his faithful ones - the children of Israel, close to him. Praise the Lord.
