KJV: The king shall joy in thy strength, O LORD; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!

Geneva: To him that excelleth. A Psalme of Dauid. The King shall reioyce in thy stregth, O Lord: yea how greatly shal he reioyce in thy saluatio!

KJV: Thou hast given him his heart’s desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah.

Geneva: Thou hast giuen him his hearts desire, and hast not denyed him the request of his lips. Selah.

KJV: For thou preventest him with the blessings of goodness: thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head.

Geneva: For thou diddest preuent him with liberall blessings, and didest set a crowne of pure gold vpon his head.

KJV: He asked life of thee, and thou gavest it him, even length of days for ever and ever.

Geneva: He asked life of thee, and thou gauest him a long life for euer and euer.

KJV: His glory is great in thy salvation: honour and majesty hast thou laid upon him.

Geneva: His glory is great in thy saluation: dignitie and honour hast thou laid vpon him.

KJV: For thou hast made him most blessed for ever: thou hast made him exceeding glad with thy countenance.

Geneva: For thou hast set him as blessings for euer: thou hast made him glad with the ioy of thy countenance.

KJV: For the king trusteth in the LORD, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved.

Geneva: Because the King trusteth in the Lord, and in the mercie of the most High, he shall not slide.

KJV: Thine hand shall find out all thine enemies: thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee.

Geneva: Thine hand shall finde out all thine enemies, and thy right hand shall finde out them that hate thee.

KJV: Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of thine anger: the LORD shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them.

Geneva: Thou shalt make them like a fierie ouen in time of thine anger: the Lord shall destroy them in his wrath, and the fire shall deuoure them.

KJV: Their fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.

Geneva: Their fruite shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seede from the children of men.

KJV: For they intended evil against thee: they imagined a mischievous device, which they are not able to perform.

Geneva: For they intended euill against thee, and imagined mischiefe, but they shall not preuaile.

KJV: Therefore shalt thou make them turn their back, when thou shalt make ready thine arrows upon thy strings against the face of them.

Geneva: Therefore shalt thou put them aparte, and the strings of thy bowe shalt thou make readie against their faces.

KJV: Be thou exalted, LORD, in thine own strength: so will we sing and praise thy power.

Geneva: Be thou exalted, O Lord, in thy strength: so will we sing and prayse thy power.
