KJV: Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.

Geneva: To him that excelleth on Neginoth. A Psalme of Dauid. Heare me when I call, O God of my righteousnes: thou hast set me at libertie, when I was in distresse: haue mercie vpon me & hearken vnto my prayer.

KJV: O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah.

Geneva: O ye sonnes of men, howe long will yee turne my glory into shame, louing vanitie, and seeking lyes? Selah.

KJV: But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.

Geneva: For be ye sure that the Lorde hath chosen to himselfe a godly man: the Lorde will heare when I call vnto him.

KJV: Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.

Geneva: Tremble, and sinne not: examine your owne heart vpon your bed, and be still. Selah.

KJV: Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.

Geneva: Offer the sacrifices of righteousnes, and trust in the Lorde.

KJV: There be many that say, Who will shew us any good? LORD, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.

Geneva: Many say, Who will shewe vs any good? but Lorde, lift vp the light of thy countenance vpon vs.

KJV: Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased.

Geneva: Thou hast giuen mee more ioye of heart, then they haue had, when their wheate and their wine did abound.

KJV: I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.

Geneva: I will lay mee downe, and also sleepe in peace: for thou, Lord, onely makest me dwell in safetie.
