KJV: Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.
Geneva: Reioyce in the Lord, O ye righteous: for it becommeth vpright men to be thankefull.

KJV: Praise the LORD with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings.
Geneva: Prayse the Lord with harpe: sing vnto him with viole and instrument of ten strings.

KJV: Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.
Geneva: Sing vnto him a newe song: sing cheerefully with a loude voyce.

KJV: For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth.
Geneva: For the word of the Lord is righteous, and all his workes are faithfull.

KJV: He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD.
Geneva: He loueth righteousnesse and iudgement: the earth is full of the goodnesse of the Lord.

KJV: By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
Geneva: By the worde of the Lorde were the heauens made, & all the hoste of them by the breath of his mouth.

KJV: He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses.
Geneva: He gathereth the waters of the sea together as vpon an heape, and layeth vp the depths in his treasures.

KJV: Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
Geneva: Let all the earth feare the Lord: let al them that dwell in the world, feare him.

KJV: For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.

KJV: The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect.
Geneva: The Lorde breaketh the counsell of the heathen, and bringeth to nought the deuices of the people.

KJV: The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.
Geneva: The counsell of the Lord shall stand for euer, and the thoughts of his heart throughout all ages.

KJV: Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
Geneva: Blessed is that nation, whose God is the Lord: euen the people that he hath chosen for his inheritance.

KJV: The LORD looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men.
Geneva: The Lorde looketh downe from heauen, and beholdeth all the children of men.

KJV: From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth.
Geneva: From the habitation of his dwelling he beholdeth all them that dwell in the earth.

KJV: He fashioneth their hearts alike; he considereth all their works.
Geneva: He facioneth their hearts euery one, and vnderstandeth all their workes.

KJV: There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.
Geneva: The King is not saued by the multitude of an hoste, neither is the mightie man deliuered by great strength.

KJV: An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.
Geneva: A horse is a vaine helpe, and shall not deliuer any by his great strength.

KJV: Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;
Geneva: Beholde, the eye of the Lorde is vpon them that feare him, and vpon them, that trust in his mercie,

KJV: To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.
Geneva: To deliuer their soules from death, and to preserue them in famine.

KJV: Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield.
Geneva: Our soule waiteth for the Lord: for he is our helpe and our shielde.

KJV: For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.
Geneva: Surely our heart shall reioyce in him, because we trusted in his holy Name.

KJV: Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.
Geneva: Let thy mercie, O Lord, be vpon vs, as we trust in thee.
