←Back to VersesFor we will not inherit with them on yonder side Jordan, or forward; because our inheritance is fallen to us on this side Jordan eastward.
For we won't share their land beyond the Jordan River, nor go forward. Our land lies here on this side of the river, stretching towards the east.
