KJV: In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.

Geneva: Now in the end of the Sabbath, when the first day of ye weeke began to dawne, Marie Magdalene, and the other Marie came to see the sepulchre,

KJV: And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.

Geneva: And behold, there was a great earthquake: for the Angel of the Lorde descended from heauen, and came and rolled backe the stone from the doore, and sate vpon it.

KJV: His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:

Geneva: And his countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snowe.

KJV: And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.

Geneva: And for feare of him, the keepers were astonied, and became as dead men.

KJV: And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.

Geneva: But the Angel answered, & said to the women, Feare ye not: for I know that ye seeke Iesus which was crucified:

KJV: He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

Geneva: He is not here, for he is risen; as he saide: come, see the place where the Lord was laid,

KJV: And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.

Geneva: And go quickly, & tel his disciples that he is risen fro ye dead: & behold, he goeth before you into Galile: there ye shall see him: loe, I haue told you.

KJV: And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.

Geneva: So they departed quickly from the sepulchre, with feare and great ioye, and did runne to bring his disciples worde.

KJV: And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.

Geneva: And as they wet to tel his disciples, behold, Iesus also met the, saying, God saue you; they came, and tooke him by the feete, and worshipped him.

KJV: Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.

Geneva: Then said Iesus vnto them, Be not afraide. Goe, and tell my brethren, that they goe into Galile, and there shall they see me.

KJV: Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and shewed unto the chief priests all the things that were done.

Geneva: Nowe when they were gone, beholde, some of the watch came into the citie, & shewed vnto the hie Priestes all ye things that were done.

KJV: And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers,

Geneva: And they gathered them together with the Elders, and tooke counsell, and gaue large money vnto the souldiers,

KJV: Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept.

Geneva: Saying, Say, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept.

KJV: And if this come to the governor’s ears, we will persuade him, and secure you.

Geneva: And if this matter come before the gouernour to be heard, we will perswade him, and so vse the matter that you shall not neede to care.

KJV: So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.

Geneva: So they tooke the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is noysed among the Iewes vnto this day.

KJV: Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.

Geneva: Then ye eleuen disciples wet into Galile, into a mountaine, where Iesus had appointed the.

KJV: And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.

Geneva: And when they sawe him, they worshipped him: but some douted.

KJV: And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Geneva: And Iesus came, and spake vnto them, saying, All power is giuen vnto me, in heauen, and in earth.

KJV: Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Geneva: Go therefore, & teach all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and the Sonne, and the holy Ghost,

KJV: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Geneva: Teaching them to obserue all things, whatsoeuer I haue commanded you: and lo, I am with you alway, vntill the ende of the worlde, Amen.
