Genesis 41:36
And that food shall be for store to the land against the seven years of famine, which shall be in the land of Egypt; that the land perish not through the famine.
Simple English
The food will be stored to keep the land from starving during the seven years of hunger in Egypt. This way, the land won't suffer because of the famine.
