Chapter XXIV Summary
He went to another place on earth. There was a mountain range of fire that burned day and night. He went beyond it and saw seven big, beautiful mountains. Each one was different. The stones were big and beautiful. Three were to the east, one on top of the other. Three were to the south, one on top of the other. Deep, rough valleys separated them. The seventh mountain was in the middle. It was the tallest, like a throne. Fragrant trees were around the throne. Among them was a special tree. It had a strong, pleasant smell. Its leaves, flowers, and wood never wither. Its fruit was beautiful, like dates from a palm tree. He said the tree was very beautiful and fragrant. Its leaves and flowers were also very nice to look at. Michael, a holy and honored angel, answered him. Michael was with him and was their leader.

2I went past it and saw seven amazing mountains, each one different from the others. The stones were beautiful and splendid, with a glorious look and a pleasing appearance. Three of them were to the east, each one built on top of the other, and three were to the south, one on top of the other. There were also deep, rough valleys between them, but none of them connected with any other.
3There was a seventh mountain in the middle of these, taller than the others, like a throne. Fragrant trees grew around it.
4Among those trees, there was one I had never smelled before, and none of the others were like it. Its fragrance was beyond any other, and its leaves, flowers, and wood never wither. Its fruit is beautiful and looks like palm dates.
5I said, "This tree is so beautiful and fragrant. Its leaves are lovely, and its flowers are very pleasing to look at."
