Chapter XLIX Summary
The Elect One stands before the Lord of Spirits. He is mighty and full of righteousness. He has the spirit of wisdom, insight, understanding, and strength. He also has the spirit of those who have died in righteousness. He will judge secrets, and no one can lie to him. He is chosen by the Lord of Spirits. Unrighteousness will fade away like a shadow. The Elect One's glory lasts forever. His power is for all generations.
He is powerful in all the hidden truths of righteousness. Unrighteousness will vanish like a shadow and will not last. This is because the Chosen One stands before the Lord of Spirits, and his glory lasts forever. His power extends to all generations.
3In him lives the spirit of wisdom, the spirit that gives insight, the spirit of understanding and strength, and the spirit of those who have died in righteousness.
4He will judge hidden things, and no one will be able to speak lies in his presence. He is the chosen one before the Lord of Spirits, according to His will.
