Chapter XXXVIII Summary
The righteous will gather, and sinners will be judged and removed from the earth. The Righteous One will appear to the righteous, whose good deeds are known by the Lord of Spirits. Light will shine for the righteous and the elect on earth. There will be no place for sinners or those who denied the Lord of Spirits. It would have been better if they had never been born. The secrets of the righteous will be revealed, and sinners will be judged and driven away. From that time, those who possess the earth will no longer be powerful. They will not be able to look at the holy ones, because the Lord of Spirits will shine His light on the holy, righteous, and elect. Kings and the mighty will be destroyed and handed over to the righteous and holy. After that, no one will ask the Lord of Spirits for mercy, because their time will be over.
When the gathering of the righteous is revealed, and sinners are judged for their wrongdoings, they will be removed from the earth.
2When the Righteous One appears to those who are righteous, whose chosen works are connected to the Lord of Spirits, light will shine for the righteous and the elect who live on earth. But what will happen to the homes of the wicked, and where will those who rejected the Lord of Spirits find rest? It would have been better for them if they had never been born.
3When the secrets of the righteous are revealed and the sinners are judged, the godless will be removed from the presence of the righteous and chosen ones.
4From that time, those who rule the earth will no longer have power or be exalted. They won't be able to look at the holy ones, because the Lord of Spirits has made His light shine on the faces of the holy, righteous, and chosen ones.
5Then the kings and the powerful will be destroyed and handed over to the control of the righteous and holy.
6Then, no one will seek mercy from the Lord of Spirits, for their life will have ended.
