Chapter XXVI Summary
I went to the middle of the earth. I saw a blessed place with trees that had branches that were always blooming. I also saw a holy mountain. Underneath the mountain to the east, there was a stream flowing towards the south. I saw another mountain to the east that was higher than the first one. Between them was a deep and narrow ravine with a stream running underneath the mountain. To the west of the higher mountain, there was another mountain that was lower and smaller. There was a deep and dry ravine between them. Another deep and dry ravine was at the edges of the three mountains. All the ravines were deep and narrow, made of hard rock, and no trees were planted on them. I was amazed by the rocks and the ravine. I marveled at them very much.
I traveled to the center of the earth and saw a blessed place where there were trees with branches that remained and were always blooming, even though they had been cut down.
2I saw a holy mountain, and beneath it to the east was a stream that flowed towards the south.
3I saw another mountain to the east, taller than the first one. Between them was a deep and narrow valley, and a stream flowed beneath the mountain in the valley.
4There was another mountain to the west, smaller and not as high as the first one, with a deep, dry valley between them. There was also a deep, dry valley at the far ends of all three mountains.
5All the ravines were deep and narrow, made of hard rock, and no trees were growing in them.
6I was amazed by the rocks and the ravine, yes, I was greatly amazed.
