Genesis 2:21
←Back to VersesAnd the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
Then, God made Adam fall into a very deep sleep. While he was sleeping, God took one of Adam's ribs, and used the surrounding skin to cover the place where the rib had been.
