←Back to VersesAnd the families of the scribes which dwelt at Jabez; the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and Suchathites. These are the Kenites that came of Hemath, the father of the house of Rechab.
The people who wrote things lived in a place called Jabez. There were three groups: Tirathites, Shimeathites, and Suchathites. They were part of the Kenite family from Hemath, who was the ancestor of the Rechab family.
