John 8:55
Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.
Simple English
Even though you don't know him, I know him. If I said I didn't know him, I would be lying like the rest of you. But I truly know him and follow his teachings.
