Whereas thou hast been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through thee, I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations.

Even though you were abandoned and disliked, with nobody passing through your area, I will turn you into something wonderful and enjoyable for many people to enjoy for eternity.
