KJV: The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.

Geneva: The worde that Isaiah the sonne of Amoz sawe vpon Iudah and Ierusalem.

KJV: And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

Geneva: It shall be in the last dayes, that the mountaine of the house of the Lorde shalbe prepared in the top of the mountaines, and shall be exalted aboue the hilles, and all nations shall flowe vnto it.

KJV: And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

Geneva: And many people shall go, and say, Come, and let vs go vp to the mountaine of the Lord, to the house of the God of Iaakob, and hee will teach vs his wayes, and we will walke in his paths: for the Lawe shall go foorth of Zion, and the worde of the Lord from Ierusalem,

KJV: And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

Geneva: And he shall iudge among the nations, and rebuke many people: they shall breake their swords also into mattocks, and their speares into siethes: nation shall not lift vp a sworde against nation, neither shal they learne to fight any more.

KJV: O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the LORD.

Geneva: O house of Iaakob, come ye, and let vs walke in the Lawe of the Lord.

KJV: Therefore thou hast forsaken thy people the house of Jacob, because they be replenished from the east, and are soothsayers like the Philistines, and they please themselves in the children of strangers.

Geneva: Surely thou hast forsaken thy people, the house of Iaakob, because they are full of the East maners, and are sorcerers as the Philistims, and abound with strange children.

KJV: Their land also is full of silver and gold, neither is there any end of their treasures; their land is also full of horses, neither is there any end of their chariots:

Geneva: Their land also was full of siluer & golde, and there was none ende of their treasures: and their land was full of horses, and their charets were infinite.

KJV: Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made:

Geneva: Their land also was full of idols: they worshipped the worke of their owne hands, which their owne fingers haue made.

KJV: And the mean man boweth down, and the great man humbleth himself: therefore forgive them not.

Geneva: And a man bowed himselfe, and a man humbled himselfe: therefore spare them not.

KJV: Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty.

Geneva: Enter into the rocke, and hide thee in the dust from before the feare of the Lord, and from the glory of his maiestie.

KJV: The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.

Geneva: The hie looke of man shall be humbled, and the loftinesse of men shalbe abased, and the Lord onely shall be exalted in that day.

KJV: For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:

Geneva: For the day of the Lorde of hostes is vpon all the proude and hautie, and vpon all that is exalted: and it shalbe made lowe.

KJV: And upon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan,

Geneva: Euen vpon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are hie & exalted, & vpon all the okes of Bashan,

KJV: And upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills that are lifted up,

Geneva: And vpon all the hie mountaines, and vpon all the hilles that are lifted vp,

KJV: And upon every high tower, and upon every fenced wall,

Geneva: And vpon euery hie tower, and vpon euery strong wall,

KJV: And upon all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all pleasant pictures.

Geneva: And vpon all the shippes of Tarshish, and vpon all pleasant pictures.

KJV: And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.

Geneva: And the hautinesse of men shalbe brought low, and the loftinesse of men shalbe abased, and the Lord shall onely be exalted in that day.

KJV: And the idols he shall utterly abolish.

Geneva: And the idoles will he vtterly destroy.

KJV: And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.

Geneva: Then they shall goe into the holes of the rockes, & into the caues of the earth, from before the feare of the Lorde, and from the glory of his maiestie, when he shall arise to destroy the earth.

KJV: In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats;

Geneva: At that day shall man cast away his siluer idoles, & his golden idoles (which they had made themselues to worship them) to the mowles and to the backes,

KJV: To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.

Geneva: To goe into the holes of the rockes, and into the toppes of the ragged rockes from before the feare of the Lorde, and from the glory of his maiestie, when he shall rise to destroy the earth.

KJV: Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of ?

Geneva: Cease you from the man whose breath is in his nostrels: for wherein is he to be esteemed?
