Isaiah

*Hey, everyone who is thirsty, come to the water. And if you don't have any money, come and buy food. Yes, come and get wine and milk for free, with no cost at all.

*Why do you spend money on things that aren't food, and work for things that don't fulfill you? Listen carefully to me, eat what is good, and enjoy plenty.

*Listen to me and come to me; let me speak, and your life will be filled with joy. I will create a lasting agreement with you, full of the great kindness shown to David.

*Look, I have chosen someone to show others how to lead and command them.

*Look, you will invite a people you don't know, and other nations will chase after you because of the Lord your God and the Holy One of Israel, for he has made you great.

*Look for God when you can still find Him, ask Him for help while He's close to you.

*Stop being bad and think differently; turn back to God, and He will be kind to you. Go to our loving God because He will forgive a lot.

*My thoughts aren't like yours, and your ways aren't like mine, says God.

*As the sky is higher than the ground, my ways are greater than yours, and my thoughts too.

*Just like rain and snow fall from the sky and don't go back, they water the Earth, helping it grow and produce seeds for farmers to plant and food for people to eat.

*My words will do what I want them to; they won't fail or return without achieving their goal, but instead, they'll succeed and be successful in the task I send them for.

*You will leave happily and be gently guided; even mountains and hills will start to sing for you, and all the trees in the fields will clap their hands.

*Instead of prickly plants, there will grow lovely fir trees, and instead of painful brambles, beautiful myrtle trees will appear. These trees will belong to God, as a lasting symbol that will never disappear.
