Isaiah 36:18
Beware lest Hezekiah persuade you, saying, The LORD will deliver us. Hath any of the gods of the nations delivered his land out of the hand of the king of Assyria?
Simple English
Be careful not to be convinced by Hezekiah, who says that the Lord will save us. Has any god from other nations saved their land from the control of the king of Assyria?
