Exodus 36:24
And forty sockets of silver he made under the twenty boards; two sockets under one board for his two tenons, and two sockets under another board for his two tenons.

He made 40 silver supports under 20 wooden panels. There were 2 supports under each panel for the two wooden rods. He also made 2 supports under a different panel for its two wooden rods.
