KJV: And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.

Geneva: When Abram was ninetie yeere olde and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said vnto him, I am God all sufficient. walke before me, and be thou vpright,

KJV: And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.

Geneva: And I will make my couenant betweene me and thee, & I will multiplie thee exceedingly.

KJV: And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,

Geneva: Then Abram fell on his face, and God talked with him, saying,

KJV: As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.

Geneva: Beholde, I make my couenant with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations,

KJV: Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.

Geneva: Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shalbe Abraham: for a father of many nations haue I made thee.

KJV: And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.

Geneva: Also I will make thee exceeding fruitfull, and will make nations of thee: yea, Kings shall proceede of thee.

KJV: And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.

Geneva: Moreouer I wil establish my couenant betweene me and thee, and thy seede after thee in their generations, for an euerlasting couenant, to be God vnto thee and to thy seede after thee.

KJV: And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.

Geneva: And I will giue thee and thy seede after thee the land, wherein thou art a stranger, euen all the land of Canaan, for an euerlasting possession, and I will be their God.

KJV: And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations.

Geneva: Againe God said vnto Abraham, Thou also shalt keepe my couenant, thou, and thy seede after thee in their generations.

KJV: This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.

Geneva: This is my couenant which ye shall keepe betweene me & you, & thy seede after thee, Let euery man childe among you be circumcised:

KJV: And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you.

Geneva: That is, ye shall circumcise the foreskin of your flesh, and it shalbe a signe of the couenant betweene me and you.

KJV: And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed.

Geneva: And euery man childe of eight dayes olde among you, shalbe circumcised in your generations, aswell he that is borne in thine house, as he that is bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seede.

KJV: He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.

Geneva: He that is borne in thine house, & he that is bought with thy money, must needes be circumcised: so my couenant shall be in your flesh for an euerlasting couenant.

KJV: And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant.

Geneva: But the vncircumcised man childe, in whose flesh the foreskin is not circumcised, euen that person shall be cut off from his people, because he hath broken my couenant.

KJV: And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be.

Geneva: Afterward God said vnto Abraham, Sarai thy wife shalt thou not call Sarai, but Sarah shalbe her name.

KJV: And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her.

Geneva: And I will blesse her, & will also giue thee a sonne of her, yea, I will blesse her, and she shall be the mother of nations: Kings also of people shall come of her.

KJV: Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear?

Geneva: Then Abraham fell vpon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a childe be borne vnto him, that is an hundreth yeere olde? and shall Sarah that is ninetie yeere olde beare?

KJV: And Abraham said unto God, O that Ishmael might live before thee!

Geneva: And Abraham saide vnto God, Oh, that Ishmael might liue in thy sight.

KJV: And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.

Geneva: Then God saide, Sarah thy wife shall beare thee a sonne in deede, and thou shalt call his name Izhak: and I will establish my couenant with him for an euerlasting couenant, and with his seede after him.

KJV: And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.

Geneva: And as concerning Ishmael, I haue heard thee: loe, I haue blessed him, and will make him fruitfull, and will multiplie him exceedingly: twelue princes shall he beget, and I will make a great nation of him.

KJV: But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.

Geneva: But my couenant will I establish with Izhak, which Sarah shall beare vnto thee, the next yeere at this season.

KJV: And he left off talking with him, and God went up from Abraham.

Geneva: And he left off talking with him, and God went vp from Abraham.

KJV: And Abraham took Ishmael his son, and all that were born in his house, and all that were bought with his money, every male among the men of Abraham’s house; and circumcised the flesh of their foreskin in the selfsame day, as God had said unto him.

Geneva: Then Abraham tooke Ishmael his sonne and all that were borne in his house, and all that was bought with his money, that is, euery man childe among the men of Abrahams house, and he circumcised the foreskinne of their flesh in that selfe same day, as God had comaunded him.

KJV: And Abraham was ninety years old and nine, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.

Geneva: Abraham also himselfe was ninetie yeere olde and nine, when the foreskinne of his flesh was circumcised.

KJV: And Ishmael his son was thirteen years old, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.

Geneva: And Ishmael his sonne was thirteene yeere olde, when the foreskinne of his flesh was circumcised.

KJV: In the selfsame day was Abraham circumcised, and Ishmael his son.

Geneva: The selfe same day was Abraham circumcised, and Ishmael his sonne:

KJV: And all the men of his house, born in the house, and bought with money of the stranger, were circumcised with him.

Geneva: And all the men of his house, both borne in his house, and bought with money of the stranger, were circumcised with him.
