KJV: Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood.

Geneva: Now these are the generations of the sonnes of Noah, Shem, Ham and Iapheth: vnto whom sonnes were borne after the flood.

KJV: The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.

Geneva: The sonnes of Iapheth were Gomer and Magog, and Madai, and Iauan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.

KJV: And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.

Geneva: And the sonnes of Gomer, Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.

KJV: And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.

Geneva: Also the sonnes of Iauan, Elishah and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.

KJV: By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.

Geneva: Of these were the yles of the Gentiles deuided in their landes, euery man after his tongue, and after their families in their nations.

KJV: And the sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, and Phut, and Canaan.

Geneva: Moreouer, ye sonnes of Ham were Cush, and Mizraim, and Put, and Canaan.

KJV: And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtechah: and the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan.

Geneva: And the sonnes of Cush, Seba and Hauilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtecha: also the sonnes of Raamah were Sheba and Dedan.

KJV: And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.

Geneva: And Cush begate Nimrod, who began to be mightie in the earth.

KJV: He was a mighty hunter before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD.

Geneva: He was a mightie hunter before the Lord. wherefore it is saide, As Nimrod the mightie hunter before the Lord.

KJV: And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.

KJV: Out of that land went forth Asshur, and builded Nineveh, and the city Rehoboth, and Calah,

Geneva: Out of that land came Asshur, and builded Niniueh, and the citie Rehoboth, and Calah:

KJV: And Resen between Nineveh and Calah: the same is a great city.

Geneva: Resen also betweene Niniueh and Calah: this is a great citie.

KJV: And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,

Geneva: And Mizraim begate Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim.

KJV: And Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (out of whom came Philistim,) and Caphtorim.

Geneva: Pathrusim also, & Casluhim (out of whom came the Philistims) and Caphtorims.

KJV: And Canaan begat Sidon his first born, and Heth,

Geneva: Also Canaan begat Zidon his first borne, and Heth,

KJV: And the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgasite,

Geneva: And Iebusi, and Emori, and Girgashi,

KJV: And the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,

Geneva: And Hiui, and Arki, and Sini,

KJV: And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite: and afterward were the families of the Canaanites spread abroad.

Geneva: And Aruadi, and Zemari, and Hamathi: and afterwarde were the families of the Canaanites spred abroade.

KJV: And the border of the Canaanites was from Sidon, as thou comest to Gerar, unto Gaza; as thou goest, unto Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, even unto Lasha.

Geneva: Then the border of the Canaanites was from Zidon, as thou commest to Gerar vntil Azzah, and as thou goest vnto Sodom, & Gomorah, and Admah, and Zeboijm, euen vnto Lasha.

KJV: These are the sons of Ham, after their families, after their tongues, in their countries, and in their nations.

Geneva: These are the sonnes of Ham according to their families, according to their tongues in their countries and in their nations.

KJV: Unto Shem also, the father of all the children of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder, even to him were children born.

Geneva: Vnto Shem also the father of all the sonnes of Eber, and elder brother of Iapheth were children borne.

KJV: The children of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.

Geneva: The sonnes of Shem were Elam and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram.

KJV: And the children of Aram; Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash.

Geneva: And the sonnes of Aram, Vz and Hul, and Gether and Mash.

KJV: And Arphaxad begat Salah; and Salah begat Eber.

Geneva: Also Arpachshad begate Shelah, and Shelah begate Eber.

KJV: And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother’s name was Joktan.

Geneva: Vnto Eber also were borne two sonnes: the name of the one was Peleg: for in his dayes was the earth diuided: and his brothers name was Ioktan.

KJV: And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,

Geneva: Then Ioktan begate Almodad and Sheleph, and Hazarmaueth, and Ierah,

KJV: And Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,

Geneva: And Hadoram, and Vzal, and Dicklah,

KJV: And Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba,

Geneva: And Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba,

KJV: And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab: all these were the sons of Joktan.

Geneva: And Ophir, and Hauilah, and Iobab: all these were the sonnes of Ioktan.

KJV: And their dwelling was from Mesha, as thou goest unto Sephar a mount of the east.

Geneva: And their dwelling was from Mesha, as thou goest vnto Sephar a mount of the East.

KJV: These are the sons of Shem, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, after their nations.

Geneva: These are the sonnes of Shem according to their families, according to their tongues, in their countreis and nations.

KJV: These are the families of the sons of Noah, after their generations, in their nations: and by these were the nations divided in the earth after the flood.

Geneva: These are the families of the sonnes of Noah, after their generations among their people: and out of these were the nations diuided in the earth after the flood.
