←Back to VersesNo man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light.
A person who lights a candle doesn't hide it in a hidden place or under a large object. Instead, they put it on a stand so that people entering can clearly see the light.
