1 Samuel

Tells about Samuel, the last judge, and the beginning of Israel's monarchy with King Saul and young David.

Chapter 17

KJV - 1 Samuel 17:31

And when the words were heard which David spake, they rehearsed them before Saul: and he sent for him.

When David spoke these words, they told Saul about it. Saul then asked for David to come to him.
