I know thy pride, and the naughtiness of thine heart; for thou art come down that thou mightest see the battle. Eliab, David's oldest brother, heard him talking to the men. Eliab became angry with David and asked why he came there and who he left the sheep with. He knew David was proud and had a bad heart, and thought David came to watch the fight.
