Chapter 17

KJV - 1 Samuel 17:1

Now the Philistines gathered together their armies to battle, and were gathered together at Shochoh, which belongeth to Judah, and pitched between Shochoh and Azekah, in Ephesdammim.

Now, the Philistines brought their armies together for a fight at a place called Shochoh, which is part of Judah. They set up camp between Shochoh and Azekah, in a area named Ephesdammim.
