Romans 8:24
For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
Simple English
We are saved through hope, but true hope cannot be seen; if something can be seen, it's not hope anymore. Hope is for things we don't see yet.
