Moses gives speeches about laws and the importance of following God before the Israelites enter the Promised Land.

Chapter 28

KJV - Deuteronomy 28:63

And it shall come to pass, that as the LORD rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the LORD will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it.

And it will happen that just as the Lord was happy to do good for you and increase your numbers, the Lord will be happy to destroy you and make you insignificant. You will be torn away from the land you're going to take over.
