Moses gives speeches about laws and the importance of following God before the Israelites enter the Promised Land.

Chapter 7

KJV - Deuteronomy 7:5

But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire.

So, this is what you should do to them: knock down their altars, smash their statues, chop down their sacred trees, and burn their carved images with fire.
