Moses gives speeches about laws and the importance of following God before the Israelites enter the Promised Land.

Chapter 7

KJV - Deuteronomy 7:16

And thou shalt consume all the people which the LORD thy God shall deliver thee; thine eye shall have no pity upon them: neither shalt thou serve their gods; for that will be a snare unto thee.

And you will destroy all the people that the Lord your God saves you from, showing them no mercy. You must not worship their gods, because this would trap you.
