Moses gives speeches about laws and the importance of following God before the Israelites enter the Promised Land.

Chapter 7

KJV - Deuteronomy 7:12

Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the LORD thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers:

So, if you listen to these rules and follow them, then the Lord will keep the promise He made to your ancestors.
