KJV - 2 Chronicles 10:18
Then king Rehoboam sent Hadoram that was over the tribute; and the children of Israel stoned him with stones, that he died. But king Rehoboam made speed to get him up to his chariot, to flee to Jerusalem.
Then King Rehoboam sent a man named Hadoram who was in charge of collecting taxes. The people of Israel threw rocks at him and he died. However, King Rehoboam quickly tried to rescue him and get him into his chariot to escape to Jerusalem.
