What prayer and supplication soever be made by any man, or by all thy people Israel, which shall know every man the plague of his own heart, and spread forth his hands toward this house:

Any prayer or request made by a person or all the people of Israel, who recognize the problems in their own hearts, and reach out their hands towards this temple, will be heard.
