And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
To the messenger of the Laodicean church's group, this message comes from the one called Amen, the trustworthy and truthful witness, the first step in God's creation.
