KJV: And he entered again into the synagogue; and there was a man there which had a withered hand.

Geneva: And he entred againe into ye Synagogue, & there was a man which had a withered had.

KJV: And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him.

Geneva: And they watched him, whether he would heale him on the Sabbath day, that they might accuse him.

KJV: And he saith unto the man which had the withered hand, Stand forth.

Geneva: Then he saide vnto the man which had the withered hand, Arise: stand forth in the middes.

KJV: And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace.

Geneva: And he saide to them, Is it lawfull to doe a good deede on the Sabbath day, or to doe euil? to saue the life, or to kil? But they held their peace.

KJV: And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.

Geneva: Then hee looked rounde about on them angerly, mourning also for the hardnesse of their hearts, and saide to the man, Stretch foorth thine hand; he stretched it out: and his hande was restored, as whole as the other.

KJV: And the Pharisees went forth, and straightway took counsel with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.

Geneva: And the Pharises departed, & straightway gathered a councill with the Herodians against him, that they might destroy him.

KJV: But Jesus withdrew himself with his disciples to the sea: and a great multitude from Galilee followed him, and from Judaea,

Geneva: But Iesus auoided with his disciples to the sea: and a great multitude followed him from Galile, and from Iudea,

KJV: And from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and from beyond Jordan; and they about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they had heard what great things he did, came unto him.

Geneva: And from Ierusalem, & from Idumea, and beyonde Iordan: and they that dwelled about Tyrus & Sidon, when they had heard what great things he did, came vnto him in great number.

KJV: And he spake to his disciples, that a small ship should wait on him because of the multitude, lest they should throng him.

Geneva: And he commanded his disciples, that a litle shippe should waite for him, because of the multitude, lest they shoulde throng him.

KJV: For he had healed many; insomuch that they pressed upon him for to touch him, as many as had plagues.

Geneva: For hee had healed many, in so much that they preassed vpon him to touch him, as many as had plagues.

KJV: And unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God.

Geneva: And when the vncleane spirits sawe him, they fel downe before him, & cried, saying, Thou art the Sonne of God.

KJV: And he straitly charged them that they should not make him known.

Geneva: And he sharply rebuked them, to the ende they should not vtter him.

KJV: And he goeth up into a mountain, and calleth unto him whom he would: and they came unto him.

Geneva: Then hee went vp into a mountaine, and called vnto him whome he woulde, and they came vnto him.

KJV: And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach,

Geneva: And hee appoynted twelue that they should be with him, and that he might send them to preache,

KJV: And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils:

Geneva: And that they might haue power to heale sicknesses, and to cast out deuils.

KJV: And Simon he surnamed Peter;

Geneva: And the first was Simon, and hee named Simon, Peter,

KJV: And James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and he surnamed them Boanerges, which is, The sons of thunder:

Geneva: Then Iames the sonne of Zebedeus, & Iohn Iames brother (and surnamed them Boanerges, which is, the sonnes of thunder,)

KJV: And Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Canaanite,

Geneva: And Andrew, and Philippe, & Bartlemew, and Matthewe, and Thomas, and Iames, the sonne of Alpheus, and Thaddeus, and Simon the Cananite,

KJV: And Judas Iscariot, which also betrayed him: and they went into an house.

Geneva: And Iudas Iscariot, who also betraied him, and they came home.

KJV: And the multitude cometh together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread.

Geneva: And the multitude assembled againe, so that they could not so much as eate bread.

KJV: And when his friends heard of it, they went out to lay hold on him: for they said, He is beside himself.

Geneva: And when his kinsfolkes heard of it, they went out to laie hold on him: for they sayde that he was beside himselfe.

KJV: And the scribes which came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of the devils casteth he out devils.

Geneva: And the Scribes which came downe fro Hierusalem, saide, He hath Beelzebub, & through the prince of the deuils he casteth out deuils.

KJV: And he called them unto him, and said unto them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan?

Geneva: But he called them vnto him, and said vnto them in parables, How can Satan driue out Sata?

KJV: And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.

Geneva: For if a kingdome bee deuided against it selfe, that kingdome can not stand.

KJV: And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.

Geneva: Or if a house bee deuided against it selfe, that house can not continue.

KJV: And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.

Geneva: So if Satan make insurrection against himselfe, and be deuided, hee can not endure but is at an ende.

KJV: No man can enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.

Geneva: No man can enter into a strong mans house, and take away his goods, except hee first binde that strong man, and then spoyle his house.

KJV: Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:

Geneva: Verely I say vnto you, all sinnes shalbe forgiuen vnto the children of men, and blasphemies, wherewith they blaspheme:

KJV: But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:

Geneva: But hee that blasphemeth against the holy Ghost, shall neuer haue forgiuenesse, but is culpable of eternall damnation.

KJV: Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.

Geneva: Because they saide, Hee had an vncleane spirit.

KJV: There came then his brethren and his mother, and, standing without, sent unto him, calling him.

Geneva: Then came his brethren and mother, and stoode without, and sent vnto him, and called him.

KJV: And the multitude sat about him, and they said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren without seek for thee.

Geneva: And the people sate about him, and they said vnto him, Beholde, thy mother, and thy brethren seeke for thee without.

KJV: And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother, or my brethren?

Geneva: But hee answered them, saying, Who is my mother and my brethren?

KJV: And he looked round about on them which sat about him, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!

Geneva: And hee looked rounde about on them, which sate in compasse about him, and saide, Beholde my mother and my brethren.

KJV: For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.

Geneva: For whosoeuer doeth the will of God, he is my brother, and my sister, and mother.
