Joshua 24:3
And I took your father Abraham from the other side of the flood, and led him throughout all the land of Canaan, and multiplied his seed, and gave him Isaac.
Simple English
I brought your dad, Abraham, from far away across the river, and guided him through all of Canaan's land, increased his children, and gave him a son named Isaac.
