Hosea

*Put the horn to your lips. He will arrive like an eagle at God's home because they broke my agreement and went beyond my rules.

*Israel will call out to me, God, we recognize you.

*Israel has rejected what is good; the enemy will chase after them.

*They created rulers on their own, not through my guidance; they also made leaders without my knowledge. They used their wealth, like silver and gold, to create idols which will eventually be destroyed.

*Your baby, Samaria, has left you; I am very angry with them. How much longer until they become innocent?

*From Israel, the worker created it, so it's not divine. The calf of Samaria will be destroyed.

*Because they planted bad actions, they will face big problems with no roots or foundation; their efforts will result in nothing useful, and other people will take what little they produce.

*Israel is destroyed and becomes like a useless container among non-Jewish people, where there's no joy.

*They went to Assyria, like a wild donkey by itself. Ephraim got people to support them.

*Yes, even though they were taken by other countries, now I will bring them together and they will be sad for a short time because of the heavy rule of the great ruler.

*Since Ephraim built many altars for wrongdoing, these altars will be used for sinning.

*I told him about my important rules, but he thought of them as weird and unusual.

*They offer animal flesh for my special meals, then eat it too. But God doesn't accept them. He'll remember their wrongdoing and punish their sins. They'll go back to Egypt.

*Israel has forgotten the Creator while building temples, and Judah has many fortified cities. But I will send fire to their cities, which will destroy the grand buildings.
