Uses the prophet's marriage as a symbol for Israel's unfaithfulness and God's faithful love.

Chapter 10

KJV - Hosea 10:6

It shall be also carried unto Assyria for a present to king Jareb: Ephraim shall receive shame, and Israel shall be ashamed of his own counsel.

This will be taken to King Jareb of Assyria as a gift. Ephraim will feel embarrassed, and Israel will be ashamed of their own plans.
