Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.
Simple English
Put out the fire's anger, got away from the knife's sharp side, became powerful from being weak, bravely fought, and chased away foreign armies running.
